A beautiful, time-travel board game built for families Trekking Through History invites you to travel through time to experience beautiful moments from our past. Meet legendary people and join remarkable events as you try to see all you can before the clock runs out. You might learn a few things along the way!
Featuring 108 remarkable historical events from around the world
We teamed up with a panel of historians, professors, industry experts, and other advisors to decide which events should be featured.
We decided that we should focus on moments of beauty and inspiration that illustrate the best and most noble parts of us, and they needn’t all be "pivotal" in the greater narrative of history.
Easy to learn & teach - We've spent hundreds of hours testing with customers to create a game that's both easy to learn and incredibly fun to play.
The game comes with both a beautiful, well-designed rulebook and a how-to-play video to teach a group all at once!
It’s a history game that’s also a gateway game. A lot of history games are pretty heavy versions that you’d only play with your gamer friends. This game is designed to also be played with family members. You can share some wondrous things about history with your family, which is important to us as a company.
In Trekking through History, you go on a three-day tour of human history, traveling thousands of years in a time machine to experience great moments from our past.
The game takes place over three rounds, each representing one day of your trip. Each day, you visit a series of historical events, spending a different number of hours at each.
On each turn, you choose to visit one historical event, and spend a certain number of hours doing it. Doing so will yield benefits, like checking off items on your itinerary for points, and earning Time Crystals so you can bend the space-time continuum on future turns.
Along the way, you’ll also score points for visiting historical events in chronological order.
The player with the most points after three rounds wins.
